The Community Access Technology Center (CATC)
targets at-risk youth and provides them with the technical skills and
experience to advance in today’s digital economy. The CATC provides
workforce training classes, education workshops, and mentorship
programs.

Connection
Come in and experience the web at the CATC's Internet Café,
located inside the Worcester Common Outlets' food court. Surf the
web, send emails, look for a job, do research, and more! Qualify to
receive discounts with our food court neighbors.

Since its foundation, Pride Productions has focused
on providing career training and educational opportunity to the local
community. Bringing education in Information Technology & Graphic
Design to inner-city youth and others seeking affordable career training
is a service we provide with passion.
Our aim is to offer educational programs which produce
competent IT professionals who can confidently start a job Day 1 after
graduation. Instead of making unrealistic promises to students, we take
the time to teach each topic at a pace that allows for proper introduction,
repetition and practice.

This course is designed to provide the student with an overview understanding
of the functionality of MS Word. Topics include: Keyboard controls,
columns, tables, envelopes and labels.
Prerequisite: Basic PC knowledge

Excel Fundamentals
A beginning course designed to give an overview of the functionality
of creating MS Excel spreadsheets. Topics include: entering, editing
and formatting data, sorting, filtering and print commands.

Microsoft Outlook
This desktop information management program will allow you to send
email, schedule meetings, appointments and events; track you daily
tasks.

This course gives an overview of relational database basics, creating
relational databases, and generating basic queries, forms and reports.
Prerequisite: Basic PC knowledge

This course shows you how to make group presentations come alive.
Learn how to incorporate pictures, backgrounds, graphs and sounds
into your slide show.
